The attorney who we hired to represent the farmers, James Tupitza, of West Chester,( www.tupitzalaw.com )reports that we have won a landmark victory for Agricultural Preservation that will impact the entire state.  Already, in anticipation of the result,  the three remaining townships in Lancaster County that had previously rejected Ag Security Districts have joined the rest of the county to permit Ag Security Districts.  These districts are the first step toward qualifying lands for permanent preservation.  Here is the full text of the decision of the Court of Common Pleas and the appellate court (the Commonwealth Court).
